Ursula and the 11,000 Virgins and The Golden Legend (excerpts)

On a shared program with Jennifer Monson and Davidson Gigliotti, I will show revivals of the two culminating solos from my New York Dance & Performance “Bessie" award-winning work Ursula and the 11,000 Virgins (2005) and its companion The Golden Legend (2009). The portrait of Saint Ursula (originally danced by Derry Swan) will be performed by Caitlin Scranton, and the portrait of Saint Stephen (originally danced by Brian Brooks) will be performed by Cemiyon Barber.
