Wolf-in-Skins Lecture/Demonstration at Watermill

June 16, 2012
Composer Gregory Spears, choreographer Christopher Williams, and costume designer Andrew Jordan will offer a glimpse into the process of making their latest work while in residence at the Watermill Center. Inspired by obscure Welsh faerie legends and the overlapping mythology of the six remaining Insular Celtic cultures, the new work Wolf-in-Skins will interweave dance, music, and visual design to define a ritualistic arena in which lost mythology may be embodied via contemporary performance.
The open rehearsal will feature dancers Caitlin Scranton and Matthew Flatley.
